ASAE is registered with the CAE Program as a CAE Approved Provider committed to providing education that aligns with the CAE Exam Content Outline for the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. 

All education sessions at the ASAE Annual Meeting are CAE-eligible and attendees may earn up to 16.5 CAE credits for attending the conference education sessions from Sunday, August 21 – Tuesday August 23. 

Additional CAE Credits can be earned by attending the preconference workshops on Saturday, August 20 (3 CAE Credits).

Included in the 16.5 CAE credits outlined above, there are three specific sessions each worth 1 CAE credit in Ethics which is part of the CAE requirement.

  • Everyday Ethics for the Association Executive  (8/21 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.)
  • Stepping Into an Uncomfortable Spotlight: Ethical Data Sharing to Catalyze Change (8/22 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.)
  • Virtual Event Code of Ethics  (8/22 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
 

Earn CMP Credits

ASAE is registered with the Events Industry Council (EIC) as a CMP Preferred Provider committed to providing education that aligns with the CMP International Standards for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential. All educational sessions at the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition have been submitted for pre-approval of CE credit hours. 

Attendance will be uploaded into attendee’s online CMP profile with EIC and credit will be given automatically. Please allow three weeks after the event has ended for attendance to be recorded. The email address on file with ASAE in your registration must match the email address in your online profile with EIC for the information to be transferred automatically. If your email address does not match, you can still receive credit by self-reporting your attendance.
