Transportation
The Classic @ Indianapolis Motor Speedway – PICKUP FROM ALL HOTELS
- Shuttles run continuously from 5:00 – 10:00pm
- Shuttle service from IMS back to hotels starts at 6:30pm
- Last shuttle departs IMS at 10:00pm
Attire
Race Day Chic – Elevated, comfortable attire fit for a summer evening trackside. Feel free to add your favorite hat or statement sunglasses, with a bit of checkered flag flair! Comfortable shoes encouraged.
Entertainment
We’re not going to spoil all of the surprises we have in store, but a few things to note:
- 5:30 pm — Hot Laps Begin*
- 7:15 pm — Driver Autograph Session Begins
- 7:45 pm — Main Stage Live Entertainment Begins
*Hot Laps – for those that feel the need for speed! Upon arrival, each attendee will receive a ticketed time slot to head to pit lane for your lap around the iconic 2.5-mile oval.
VIP Experience Wristband Holders will have access to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.

There is no clear-bag policy. Bags are welcome but subject to search.
The following items are prohibited through Indianapolis Motor Speedway admission gates and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum:
- Aerosol cans (Sunscreen excluded)
- Animals (except service animals trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability)
- DRONES, or unmanned aerial systems
- Fireworks and flares
- Flagpoles
- Glass containers
- Golf carts, ATVs, scooters, minibikes, roller blades, skateboards, skates, pogo sticks, and hover boards
- Illegal drugs and substances or drug paraphernalia (including without limitation marijuana)
- Items restricted by local, state or federal law
- Lasers of any kind
- Offensive or obscene materials (e.g., flags, signs, clothing)
- Oversize bags and luggage
- Outside food or beverage
- Scaffolding or platforms
- Selfie sticks
- Stickers
- Weapons of any type, including knives, firearms, and ammunition
- Any other items not mentioned that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of the event by other guests may be refused at the discretion of security and management. These items are subject to change without notice. There are no provisions for checking and holding prohibited items. Prohibited items may not be left at or around the gates. Items left unattended will be removed and discarded
