Not Sure Who’s New?

Easily spot other first-time attendees by the “new-bee” stickers on their badges. We will also have “First Timer” ribbons, making it even easier to identify new friends. Make sure to grab one for yourself in the registration area!

Looking to connect?

Take the time to peruse the Connect area of this site to learn about the available networking opportunities onsite. The opening and closing parties are the official evening events included with your registration that you won’t want to miss!

Why not make friends beforehand? Stop by the Hive to meet other first-timers, Young Professionals, volunteers, ASAE staff and more!

First Timer Tips:

• Create an agenda of sessions you want to attend via the app. Be sure to download the app before arriving. 
• Engage with other attendees via the app. The activity feed is particularly popular with attendees! 
• The Hive is a great space to network or take a break. 
• Pro Tip: If a session is particularly important to you, arrive EARLY! Some rooms will reach capacity quickly and arriving late could mean you won’t get access to the room.

Meet and ask questions to ASAE staff members and volunteers who will provide guidance as you navigate your first ASAE Annual Meeting. Don’t forget to pick up your “new-bee” sticker for your name badge!

While we put a lot of work into these initiatives for our first-timers, we still need your help as an ASAE Annual Meeting veteran! The best way for you to help is simply to connect.

If you see a first timer, say hello, introduce them to some of your contacts, sit by them in a learning lab, or simply stop by The Hive! Not only will you help the first timers, but you’ll grow your own network and likely make a great new friend!
