Tuesday, August 8, 10:30—11:30 AM

The ASAE Research Foundation’s study, Holistic Approach to Association Volunteer Management, found a significant gap between organizational goals, the needs of staff, and the expectations of volunteers. To further explore these findings, the Component Relations Volunteer Management (CRVM) Advisory Council piloted a volunteer management evaluation tool to test the study’s outcomes and address what makes a volunteer management program an effective tool for an association to deliver a gratifying volunteer experience that also satisfies organizational outcomes. Get the research summary, review the case study findings, and identify interplay between organizational outcomes and volunteer expectations to support mission alignment across the association, leverage the middle ground.
