Henry Timms and Jeremy Heimans are co-authors of the bestselling book New Power: How Power Works in Our Hyperconnected World—and How to Make It Work for You. Their thinking on “new power” was featured as the Big Idea in Harvard Business Review, as one of 2014’s top TED talks with over 1.25 million views, and by CNN as one of the Top Ten Ideas to Change the World in 2015.

Jeremy Heimans is co-founder and CEO of Purpose, a home for building 21st century movements and crowd-based social and economic models to tackle the world’s biggest problems. Jeremy and his team launched All Out, a 1.9 million-strong LGBT rights group, built the world’s first open-source global activism platform, and advise institutions like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the ACLU, and Google. In 2012, Fast Company named him one of the Most Creative People in Business.

Henry Timms, is President and CEO of 92nd Street Y, creates programs and movements that foster learning, civic responsibility, culture, and innovation. Under his leadership, the 144-year-old institution was named to Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Companies” list. He is the founder of #GivingTuesday, a global philanthropic movement that has generated hundreds of millions of dollars for good causes. In addition to being listed on The Nonprofit Times Power & Influence Top 50 for the past three years, Henry was named the Nonprofit Times Influencer of the Year in 2014.

Alton Fitzgerald White, a triple talented singer, actor, and dancer, has starred in six smash Broadway hits, the only the only African-American ever to do so! He made his Broadway starring debut as John in Miss Saigon with his powerful heart-rending performance of the anthem “Bui Doi” bringing nightly ovations. He went on to star in The Who’s Tommy, Smokey Joe’s Café, Ragtime: The Musical, The Color Purple and—most relevant—his record breaking4,308 performances as King Mufasa in The Lion King. Along the way, he's appeared on TV, Movies, released a hit CD, Disney My Way, and authored his autobiography MY PRIDE: Mastering Life's Daily Performance. Alton shares his secrets on how to consistently give your best performance each and every day, and yes he does sing during his keynote, bringing a taste of Broadway right onto the ASAE Annual Meeting stage!
