Getting to Indianapolis

Indianapolis’ $1.1 billion airport was named Best Airport in North America in 2012-2019 by Airports Council International, ranked number one in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power, and named the Best Domestic Airport by Travel + Leisure Reader’s Choice Awards.

Other Options for Reaching the City

Amtrak and Greyhound both have hubs in the downtown area. Amtrak’s trains offer upgraded experiences like preferred seating, private rooms, and dining options. Greyhound’s affordable bus travel includes free onboard Wi-Fi, power outlets, and the ability to reserve your favorite seat when you book your ticket.

Driving In

Known as the Crossroads of America, Indianapolis is within a day’s drive of over half of the U.S. population and within three hours of Chicago, Louisville, and Cincinnati. Traffic congestion is a rarity, visitors find the city’s grid layout straightforward, and downtown features over 73,000 parking spots. If you’re traveling to Indy in an electric vehicle, the city is stocked with ample electric charging stations. There are 688 charging stations in the Indianapolis area, 109 of which are free to use. Find your EV charger here.
